Celtics are desperately in need of Bradley

After having watched the Celtics last games we have had the opportunity to see that our defense is starting to improve (having allowed just 92 points per 100 possessions over the last 5 games) but there's still a lack of a key element in this team in order to success: the defensive specialist. I want you to watch this video I'm about to show you and I'm sure you'll see how necessary is this player for our team right now:

Good memories right? And yes, I'm talking about Bradley, who was considered one of the top one-on-one defenders in the league last year. In this game, despite stats don't say much (11 points, 2 assists and 2 steals in 23 minutes) it can be seen how important was Bradley to get that game's win with his tireless pressure on his matchups. Not only he did it in this game but he did it the whole year until he was injured in the playoffs.

As Boston.com informed 5 days ago: "Bradley is getting close to returning" and these couldn't be better news for us. I can't imagine how much is going to help to have Bradley on the roster again doing his amazing defense and netting those corner threes he used to shoot. The only problem with his addition will be the minutes conflict with the other SG. I'm guessing Lee is going to be the most damnified here as he's not played very good basketball so far. 

I'm really sure he will be our season-changer and we will be the team to beat after the All-Star Break. What do you think?

Después de haber visto los últimos partidos de los Celtics hemos tenido la oportunidad de ver como nuestra defensa está empezando a mejorar (habiendo dejado al rival en sólo 92 puntos por 100 posesiones en los últimos 5 partidos) pero aún nos falta ese elemento clave que cada equipo debería tener: el especialista defensivo. Quiero que veáis el video a continuación y estoy seguro que veréis a lo que me refiero:

Grandes momentos verdad? Pues sí, hablo de Bradley, ese jugador que fue considerado uno de los mejores jugadores defensivos en 1 contra 1 en la liga el año pasado. En este partido en concreto, aunque las estadísticas no digan mucho (11 puntos, 2 asistencias y 2 robos en 23 minutos) se puede ver claramente lo importante que puede llegar a ser Bradley con su defensa incansable y su presión sobre sus pares. Y esto no sólo fue en este partido, si no que fue un esfuerzo constante que nos ayudó a proclamarnos como equipo defensivo top en la liga.

Según Boston.com hace 5 días: "Bradley está a punto de volver" y esto creo que no podrían ser mejores notícias para todos nosotros. No puedo imaginar cuánto nos va ayudar tener a Bradley en nuestras filas de nuevo con su brillante defensa y con esos triples que solía enchufar desde la esquina. El único problema de su vuelta puede ser la distribución de minutos entre los otros escoltas y creo que el más damnificado puede ser Lee ya que no ha jugado muy bien desde su entrada en el equipo. 

Así que creo que la vuelta de Bradley va a suponer un gran cambio en el equipo y después del All-Star break seremos el equipo a batir. No creéis?
